Lee & Caroline's Wedding
The sun came out yesterday for Lee & Caroline's wedding and it stayed gorgeously bright.
I adore Brighton's register office. It does have an air of elegance with the red walls and off white panelling and cornices, and provides a stunning backdrop to show off the brides dress.
Brighton is a great place for photographs, but sometimes the best places are not necessarily within walking distance. We were lucky enough for the wedding car to whisk us off down to the Bandstand for a few pictures, which is what Caroline and Lee had requested and hoped for. It was noticeably windy, (but then its often windy down on the seafront!)
Next stop was up to the reception, held in a quaint little hall beautifully decorated. On display was a most fantastic wedding cake. Described as naked sponge, it looked like a huge chocolate Victoria sponge oozing with cream and presented on tree truck slice, on it was romantically etched "Caz 4 Lee" in a heart. It all fitted in perfectly with a rather vintage, rustic country feel theme, with bunting, flowers in jam jars and twinkling tea lights.

A wholesome meal of sausage, mash and peas were served to the guests which went down a treat before the evening celebrations began. :-)
It was a good day!
